A domain keyword tracker watches a keyword across the domain market and tells you when names containing it drop, sell, get registered, or near expiry. It is not a search rank tracker — it scores how investable a keyword is, from 0 to 100, and tells you which way that score is moving.

How the score is built
Six weighted factors, recalculated on a schedule, with the previous score kept alongside so you can see the delta. Every tracked keyword shows the full breakdown — you can see which factor is carrying the score and which is holding it back.
Search demand
25%Monthly search volume behind the keyword. The heaviest single factor, because sustained end-user demand is what eventually pays for a name.
Registration velocity
20%How fast names containing the keyword are being registered, measured against the keyword's own baseline rather than a fixed threshold.
Sales activity
20%How many names containing it have actually changed hands. The difference between interest and money.
Price trend
15%The direction of recorded sale prices over time. Reported only when there are enough data points to support a slope.
Low competition
10%How contested the keyword already is. Scored inversely — a crowded keyword is a harder position to build.
Brand potential
10%Length and premium-TLD availability, as a proxy for whether the keyword can carry a brand rather than only a redirect.
Where a factor cannot be measured reliably it is held back rather than guessed at. Registration velocity needs a minimum number of registrations in the window before its signal is trusted on its own, and no price trend is reported below a minimum number of points.
Five momentum stages
Momentum describes what registration activity is doing, separately from where the score sits. A high score that is Cooling and a middling score that is Emerging are very different propositions.
- Emerging
- Activity is picking up from a low base.
- Surging
- Activity is well above the keyword's own baseline.
- Peaked
- Activity has topped out and is no longer climbing.
- Cooling
- Activity is falling back from its high.
- Steady
- No meaningful movement either way.
Four kinds of alert
Each event carries the domain, the TLD and whatever detail is on record. Set the cadence per keyword, or mute one without losing its history — events keep accumulating either way.
- Drop
- A domain containing your keyword has been released and is available again.
- Sale
- One has changed hands — with the price and marketplace where recorded.
- Registration
- Someone has newly registered one.
- Expiring
- One is approaching its expiry date, with the days remaining shown.
Three different jobs
Two of these get called keyword trackers and the third gets confused with both. This one never looks at where your pages rank, and it watches names you don't own yet rather than the ones you do.
